Gold Sold in Uganda
Almost all the gold sold in Uganda is brought in from the DRC primarily because there are embargoes on DRC gold making it more difficult to export directly from DRC. Most of the mining communities are also located closer to the Uganda border than Kinshasa, which can be more than 2000 km away.
When gold is exported from Uganda, the exporter gets a Uganda certificate of origin which is not on the embargo list and is preferred by most international refineries over DRC origin.
Our gold is sourced and purchased responsibly from artisanal miners in DRC. We ensure that our miners are registered and no child labor is used. We bring the gold into Uganda observing all legal requirements.
Gold Trade
The gold trade can be very lucrative but it is not without its challengers. The gold trade in Africa is synonymous with scams and fraud. Almost all buyers who have entered the gold trade business have been scammed. Buyers are blinded by the illusion of a get-rich-scheme and do not consult professionals before embarking on gold sales. One of the main reasons why buyers get scammed is because they fall for the trick of cheap prices. Real gold sellers do not sell gold for cheap. The problem is that these cheap prices offered by the scammers creates an expectation that buyers can get gold for ridiculous prices. When the buyer eventually finds a real seller he expects to pay the fake prices which leads the buyer to reject the real seller and rather pursue the fake seller so that he can maximize his profits. There is no such thing as getting rich quickly. When things are too good to be true it always is.
Oversight
In order to mitigate risk for both parties, all our transactions are overseen by both customs and the police. We provide a safe environment for our clients to purchase gold from us. Oversight is important for both buyer and seller safety, eliminating any possibility of either party being scammed.

ASSAY
We only use registered refineries for assaying of the gold. The buyer can personally witness the smelting and testing of the gold after which he will receive an ASSAY report confirming net weight and purity of the gold.
The two refineries that are approved by our insurance carrier are Simba Refinery and Euro Gold refinery.
Our Service & Commitment
In addition to our own buyers, we also extend our services to clients who seek our assistance and expertise in closing their own gold deals. Our services to all clients include security, oversight, acquiring export documents and armed transport to the airport. We have vast resources in Uganda and we are fully committed to ensuring our clients’ safety, concluding a successful transaction and safe exit from the country.
